How to defrost vacuum-packed goods from KABUKI DELIKA HAUS

 

Defrosting vacuum-packed goods(side disches)

  • Defrost in the refrigerator
  • Defrosting in the refrigerator with the frozen vacuum package.
  • Some products can be enjoyed as they are after Defrosting. (Wasabizuke, perilla miso)
  • Defrost food under running cold water
    • Make a container (bowl or saucepan, etc.) full of water, then place the vacuum packaging(not open) and its contents directly into the container and let the defrost  in running water.

Warming of vacuum-packed goods(side disches)

  • with microwave
    • Take the defrosted goods out of the vacuum packaging and place the dish on the microwaveable plate, then wrap it in the plastic film and warm the food 
    • (caution)
    • The vacuum packaging is temperature resistance until 115 ° C
    • If you heat it in a microwave oven with the vacuum package, it may explode. Take it out of the vacuum pack.
  • warming in hot water
    • Boil the thawed product in hot water without opening the vacuum pack.
      • When it boils, put the product in and immediately reduce the heat to low and warm it up. It depends on the product, but the standard is 8 minutes.
      • If you boil in hot water over high heat, the vacuum pack may break.

Defrosting the vacuum packed steak meat

  • Defrost food under running cold water(Defrost just before baking)
    • Fill a bowl with water, put the product in a frozen vacuum package, and defrost it under running water. Do not defrost too much and keep at room temperature to avoid drip-losss
  • Defrost in the refrigerator
    • Take the meat out of the vacuum pack, spread the kitchen paper on a plate, put the meat on it, wrap it and thaw it in the refrigerator.
      • It depends on the thickness of the steak meat and the temperature of the refrigerator. The standard is 8 hours.

Defrosting vacuum-frozen sliced ​​meat

  • Defrost in the refrigerator (Without opening the vacuum pack)
    • Leave it in the refrigerator for a while without opening the freezing vacuum pack.
    • If you want to use it immediately, thaw it under running water. Do not defrost too much and keep at room temperature to avoid drip-losss 

Defrosting vacuum-frozen fish

  • Defrost food under running cold water(Defrost Just before warming up)
    • Fill a bowl with water, then place the vacuum packaging(not open) and its contents directly into a bowl and let the defrost  in running water.
  • Defrost in the refrigerator
    • Please take time to defrost without opening the vacuum pack in the refrigerator
